HELLO AND WELCOME!
RHS BACON (Best All-time Club Of Nerds) is dedicated to inspiring students to build, create, design, tinker, code, hack, modify or any other verb that describes an action of doing something. We want to develop skills in many different areas such as circuitry, programming, carpentry, robotics, plumbing, ... and the list goes on.
We meet in the Engineering Room (148) which is kind of hard to find the first time. It is located under/behind stairway H or above the wrestling room. Mr. Hartman is the sponsor and can usually be found in the science dept. teaching chemistry or physics in rooms 322 or 334 on Gray Days and in the Engineering room 148 on Blue Days.
We originally started as the Robotics team, but have been evolving over the last year to incorporate more skills. You can see some of the robots we have built in the photo gallery. We have competed in four different styles of robots that include VEX, Lego NXT, SeaPerch, and Best Robotics. We are still interested in competing in Vex competitions and trying to qualifying for the World Championships in Los Angeles, CA next door to Disney Land.
Check out the project pages and don't forget to Introduce Yourself through the form found under the Home tab above. We would love to have you join us. Bring your ideas and creativity or just simply come and learn something new.
